East Anglian Salon Group win Top Community Award
Years of supporting a local hospice and a pledge to continue the fundraising has won East Anglia hairdressing group, John Michael Hairdressing, a top community award.
St. Elizabeth Hospice, based in Ipswich and serving a huge area of Suffolk, recently launched the Pillars of the Community Awards to recognise local businesses who have given, and will continue to give, outstanding support to the Hospice.
Grass Root Football gets our Backing
Supporting youth football in the local community is something we are passionate about at John Michael Hairdressing.
Football has always been important in our region and two great clubs, Ipswich Town and Colchester United boast many fans amongst our clients and staff.
Ensuring young players have the support they need is our top priority and we are the proud sponsors of the Suffolk Schools Under-15 squad. This team is made up of the very best young football talent from high schools all over the region and we are proud to lend our support.

We are delighted to announce our continuing support of the fabulous St. Elizabeth Hospice in Ipswich.
Recently we were thrilled to be joined by Sara White, corporate fundraiser for the Hospice, at our welcome evening and she congratulated us on our already fantastic efforts for the Hospice. In the last 12 months, John Michael Hairdressing has raised £1,441.69 for this great cause.
Following Sara’s address at the special night, staff have responded to a call out for help, manning the salon that has been set up within the Hospice. So far three of the team have volunteered to go in and spend some time styling hair for patients at St Elizabeth Hospice.
We will now continue to fund raise for the Hospice and are looking at finding more staff who will give up some free time to help work at this special salon.
And there will now be plenty of products to work with, too! Operations Director, Michael Hallam was joined by several young members of the team recently when he visited the Hospice for a tour and handed over lots of John Michael Hairdressing shampoos, conditioners and styling products.
